Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, extractions, and prosthodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental terminology and medical records to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging technology and anatomical knowledge to diagnose oral health issues accurately. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies to promote long-term oral health. Requirements Valid license to practice dentistry in the respective state or region. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology. PREFERABLY THAT THEY SPEAK ENGLISH AND SPANISH. Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Strong knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques within a dental setting. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective patient care and team collaboration. Preferred qualifications include experience with pediatric dentistry and pediatrics-specific procedures, as well as familiarity with medical imaging technology.
