J.B. Dental is seeking an experienced part-time dental assistant who wants to grow and gain new knowledge in our growing private practice. As the dental assistant you must feel comfortable with digital x-rays, impressions, and basic dental assisting. Qualifications: At least 1 year in dental assisting experience X-ray certification CPR certification Graduate from Dental Assisting School High School Diploma Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Excellent communication and people skills Well-organized and reliable Responsibilities: Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records Benefits: Sick Pay Holiday Pay Free dental care for you and your immediate family Great work life balance!
