Grimes Pediatric Dentistry, a privately owned pediatric dental practice, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team! We are seeking an energetic, team-oriented individual with excellent communication and customer service skills who is committed to creating positive experiences for our patients and their families. The ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, and able to multitask effectively in a fun, fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our Pediatric Dentist and clinical team to provide exceptional care and support throughout the patient visit. This role combines direct patient care, chairside assisting, and clinical support responsibilities to help ensure a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable experience for both patients and parents. Responsibilities include: Greeting and welcoming patients and parents Preparing and disinfecting treatment rooms Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control protocols Chairside assisting during dental procedures Charting and documenting patient treatment Managing dental supply inventory and restocking clinical areas Providing patient education and post-operative instructions Following established dental procedures, protocols, and safety standards Supporting a positive, efficient, and fun environment for patients and families Performing additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For: Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn Commitment to outstanding patient care and customer service License and Certification Requirements: Registered Dental Assistant Radiation Health & Safety Certification CPR Certification Experience: Dental Assisting (1 year preferred) Pediatrics (1 year preferred) EagleSoft Dental Software preferred) No experience? No problem! We are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn, enjoys working with children, and is excited to become part of our amazing team. Come help us create healthy smiles and positive dental experiences every day! Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7am -5pm, Approx 25-30 hours per week. Pay is $20-$30/hour depending on experience.
