Dental Assistant - Premier Dental & Implant Center - Orland Park, IL

Overview Premier Dental & Implant Center is seeking a motivated and dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are a fast-paced, multi-specialty practice offering comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry, dental implants, periodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, and cosmetic procedures. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a dynamic environment. Candidates with strong general dentistry experience are encouraged to apply. Surgical experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual who is eager to expand their clinical skills. Responsibilities Assist doctors chairside during a variety of dental and surgical procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before patient appointments Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols Take and update radiographs as needed Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked, clean, and organized throughout the day Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions Assist with patient flow to ensure appointments remain on schedule Walk patients out following treatment and review post-operative instructions when necessary Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with treatment coordination Support multiple providers and specialties as needed Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred Experience in general dentistry required; surgical assisting experience is a plus but not required Willingness to learn and be trained in oral surgery, periodontics, and implant procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong attention to detail Experience with Eaglesoft or other dental software is a plus Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
