Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team! Duties Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and confidence Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring adherence to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including digital imaging and 3D scans, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration before procedures to ensure patient safety Manage medical records and documentation accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft while maintaining HIPAA compliance Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow efficiently Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow and reduce procedure time Educate patients on post-treatment care, dental terminology, and oral hygiene practices to promote ongoing health Skills Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for medical documentation and record management Strong knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Experience with dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners for accurate diagnostics Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and procedures across general dentistry disciplines including pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics Ability to perform vital signs assessment accurately and support medical documentation requirements in compliance with HIPAA regulations Skilled in dental assisting techniques such as chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry, and medical coding for insurance claims Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages including pediatrics; capable of explaining procedures clearly and compassionately Join us in delivering outstanding dental care!
