Experienced Dental Assistant (DA) | $24-$26/hr | Fair Oaks, CA Madison Family Dental Group 8128 Madison Ave Fair Oaks, CA 95628 Job Type: Full-Time, 32 hours per week Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience About Us Madison Family Dental Group is a modern, patient-focused dental practice serving the Fair Oaks community. We are building a strong clinical team that values accountability, communication, professionalism, and high-quality patient care. This is a fast-paced office with high standards. We support and train our team on office flow, systems, and expectations, but this is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already has strong dental assisting fundamentals and can confidently step into the role. Who We’re Looking For We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who truly enjoys dental assisting, takes pride in their work, and is ready to be an active part of a growing team. The right candidate is: Experienced and confident in chairside dental assisting Self-motivated and able to work without constant direction Coachable and open to feedback Positive, reliable, and professional A strong communicator with both patients and team members Organized and able to keep rooms, supplies, and workflow moving efficiently Comfortable in a busy clinical environment Willing to take ownership of their role and help wherever needed Passionate about providing a great patient experience We are willing to pay at the higher end of the range for the right candidate, but this person must bring experience, confidence, accountability, and a strong work ethic. If you are still learning the basics, need heavy supervision, or prefer a slow-paced environment, this position will not be the right fit. Responsibilities Chairside assisting for general, restorative, cosmetic, and other dental procedures Prepare and break down operatories efficiently Take digital X-rays Assist with iTero scanning, or be able to learn quickly Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols Keep rooms stocked, organized, and ready for patient care Support the doctor during procedures and help maintain smooth patient flow Communicate clearly with patients and team members Help create a positive, professional, and efficient clinical environment Follow office systems while also taking initiative when something needs attention Requirements Minimum 2 years of hands-on dental assisting experience required California X-ray certification required Strong chairside assisting skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office Reliable, punctual, and professional Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to receive feedback and apply it Must be able to commute to Fair Oaks, CA Nice to Have Experience with Invisalign, implants, cosmetic dentistry, or oral surgery Experience with iTero Experience with Open Dental or other dental software CPR/BLS certification Benefits Dental insurance Employee discount Free parking Paid sick time Paid time off How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed or send your resume to: flo.t@madisonfdg.com Please include your dental assisting experience, certifications, and availability.
