Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our awesome team! The ideal candidate will assist the orthodontist in providing quality care to patients and ensuring a smooth workflow within the orthodontic practice. Responsibilities: Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and orthodontic procedures Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient procedures Take panoramic X-rays and dental scans as instructed by the orthodontist Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Maintain accurate patient records and treatment information Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and sterile environment Manage inventory of orthodontic supplies and equipment Skills: Proficiency in dental terminology and knowledge of general dentistry practices Orthodontic Experience is required Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental clinic setting Ability to operate X-ray equipment and dental scanners Ability to interact well with both patients and co-workers Joining our team as an Orthodontic Assistant offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can enhance your skills and contribute to improving patients' oral health.
