Monday - Thursday work week! As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing dental care to our patients in a comprehensive manner. Qualifications Holds an active Pennsylvania EFDA Certification/License At least 2 years Chairside experience required Has extensive chairside experience in restorative, cosmetic, implant, and surgical dentistry Understands occlusion and restorative principles Has experience with veneers, temporaries, digital dentistry, and scanning technology Is confident, professional, and comfortable engaging in clinical discussions, problem-solving, and collaborative treatment planning Maintains a polished professional appearance and communicates with warmth, confidence, and professionalism Thinks ahead, anticipates needs, and thrives in a high-level clinical environment Willingness to work as part of a team with other dental assistants Job Duties Prepare the room, equipment, and area where the patient will be seeing the dentist. This may include sterilizing equipment, cleaning rooms, preparing rooms etc. Take x-rays, impressions, photos etc. of all teeth and surrounding teeth (if the patient has them). this may include taking radiographs (x-rays) in their mouth. Assist with cosmetic, restorative, and implant procedures Fabricate and adjust provisional restorations Capture high-quality digital scans for restorative treatment Maintain efficient clinical workflows Provide an elevated patient experience from start to finish Collaborate closely with the doctor and team to ensure exceptional outcomes Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Profit sharing Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: EFDA Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
