Position Overview Hertz Dental is seeking a reliable and organized Dental Floater and Clinical Support Specialist to assist with administrative and clinical tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys patient interaction and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be flexible in transitioning between front-office duties and clinical support, ensuring excellent patient experiences and efficient operations. Training will be provided during onboarding. Key Responsibilities Front Office Support Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Manage daily appointment flow and provider schedules Welcome and check in patients upon arrival Assist patients with forms and office paperwork Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Communicate with patients regarding appointments and follow-up care Clinical Support Prepare treatment rooms before patient appointments Clean and reset operatories between patients Sterilize and organize dental instruments in accordance with infection control standards Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for treatment Ensure treatment rooms remain fully stocked and organized Support patient comfort throughout appointments Equipment and Facility Support Monitor inventory levels of clinical and office supplies Restock treatment rooms and sterilization areas Assist with the maintenance and organization of dental equipment Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, and office safety protocols Maintain cleanliness and professionalism throughout the office Qualifications Prior experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional demeanor and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and reliability Preferred Qualifications Dental assisting experience Front desk or scheduling experience within a dental office Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar dental softwareX-ray certification Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures No experience is necessary; training will be provided on the job.
