Duties Greet patients warmly and manage patient intake efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately. Schedule appointments using dental practice management software such as DentiMax, maintaining an organized calendar. Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing inquiries using systems. Maintain and update patient records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, providing information and directing calls appropriately with excellent phone etiquette. Assist with insurance verification, claim submission, and follow-up to optimize revenue cycle management. Support medical administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and documentation review for accuracy and completeness. Requirements Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical coding and insurance processes including Medicare and Medicaid. Excellent computer skills with DentiMax. Ability to handle sensitive health information securely in accordance with HIPAA standards. Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and clear communication abilities. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with medical billing, documentation review, and health information management is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
