Expanded Functions Dental Assistant - The Facial Surgery Center - Greensburg, PA

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our surgical and prosthetic team. This position focuses primarily on the restorative aspects of full-arch implant reconstruction, supporting the prosthodontist through every phase of treatment from initial records and impressions to final prosthesis delivery. While this role is primarily restorative, there will be opportunities to participate in surgical aspects of care as well. Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of full-arch restorative workflows Support prosthesis conversions, adjustments, and delivery Demonstrate working knowledge of dental implants and components Manage inventory and organization of prosthetic supplies and materials Communicate and coordinate with in-house and external dental laboratories Accurately document case notes, treatment steps, and prosthetic records Track case progress and assist with quality control throughout treatment Provide chairside support during full-arch restorative visits Educate patients on prosthesis care, maintenance, and oral hygiene Experience Experience with implant-supported restorations preferred Familiarity with surgical and prosthetic collaborative workflows Knowledge of analog and digital restorative workflows preferred Experience with intraoral scanners and digital dentistry technologies is a plus Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Commitment to excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning If you are passionate about restorative dentistry, and delivering exceptional patient outcomes, we invite you to become part of our growing team.
