Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Charleston, SC
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while providing exceptional care to our patients. Responsibilities: Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Utilize 3D scanners for accurate impressions and treatment planning Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Assist in managing inventory of dental supplies, ordering when necessary Assist hygiene Answer phones/schedule appointments Take X-rays Maintain patient records accurately in Eaglesoft software Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge: Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Proficiency in general dentistry practices within a dental setting Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health Experience with medical imaging technologies is preferred but not mandatory We welcome applicants who are passionate about dental health and committed to providing high-quality patient care.
