Take dental X-rays, including iTero scans. Manage patient records using Dentrix software while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Collect medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments. Provide excellent customer service answering patient inquiries. Work with small team to make sure patients are taken care for by answering phones and taking payments when needed. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting and taking X-rays. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Knowledge of general dentistry procedures along with specialized fields like prosthodontics and endodontics. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within the dental team and provide clear instructions to patients.
