Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and dental examinations to inform treatment plans. Utilize Eaglesoft EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system for accurate documentation review and record keeping. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to individual needs. Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures. Capture digital imaging Support the dental team with administrative tasks related to dental coding, documentation review, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology to ensure precise communication within the team. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to all safety standards and infection control guidelines. Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental clinic or office environment preferred but not required. Strong background in dental techniques combined with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Experience using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft for documentation and record management. Ability to perform patient care tasks effectively while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
