Duties Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring all procedures adhere to safety and infection control standards using aseptic techniques. Manage electronic health records (EMR systems) including Dentrix, to ensure accurate medical documentation and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Lead four-handed dentistry practices by coordinating with dentist to optimize workflow and reduce procedure times. Conduct patient assessments including vital signs, medical imaging, X-ray procedures, and anatomy reviews to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental technology such as 3D scanners and digital imaging tools to enhance diagnostic capabilities. Requirements Proven experience in dental assisting within a general dentistry Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health care. Proficiency in managing EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic or similar platforms. Certification in X-ray techniques and familiarity with medical imaging equipment. Demonstrated ability to perform chairside assisting with expertise in aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages Ability to lead a team by providing mentorship, training, and support for continuous improvement. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records management and data privacy. Pay: $26.90 - $32.40 per hour Work Location: In person
