Duties Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies while maintaining strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced dental imaging technology ensuring accurate positioning and patient safety in compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) Dentrix efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation of patient histories, treatment plans, and medical coding Monitor vital signs and assess patient readiness for procedures by recording vital signs accurately Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, updating patient information, and managing medical documentation with precision Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is sterilized properly Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred; familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential Proficiency in Dental software systems such as Dentrix is desirable Hands-on experience with dental X-ray procedures is advantageous Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to dental records and data privacy is required patience and excellent communication skills are essential for engaging young patients Demonstrated ability to perform chairside assisting in four-handed dentistry environments while maintaining aseptic technique Understanding of infection control practices,dental terminology, and dental assisting procedures is critical for success in this role Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real difference!
