Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have Front office administrative experience as well as assisting skills. X-ray license is a must Responsibilities Front office administrative experience Assist the dentist during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after procedures. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners, to assist in diagnostics and treatment planning. Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked. Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment plans. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred. Knowledge of dental procedures related to General Dentistry, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Pediatrics is advantageous. Familiarity with dental software such as Epic for patient management is a plus. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
