What you’ll do: Warmly welcome patients and prepare them for treatment or checkups. Ensure patients are comfortable and well-cared-for throughout their visit. Set up and organize instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures. Sterilize instruments following the highest standards. Assist the dentist using four-handed dentistry techniques. Perform lab tasks as needed. Provide clear post-operative and oral hygiene instructions to patients. Keep the dental room clean, organized, and well-stocked. Help with scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records. Assist with payment processes. What we’re looking for: A passion for helping people and making a positive impact. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others. Willingness to learn and follow health and safety regulations. Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus, but not required. Ability to perform regulated tasks like coronal polishing is an asset. Basic computer skills. High school diploma required; dental assistant school graduates and additional certifications (such as EFDA) are preferred.
