Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Las Vegas, NV
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring impressions and trimming models - Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed Skills: - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology - Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care - Experience with Dentrix dental practice management software - Familiarity with taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about dental assisting and providing exceptional patient care.
