Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and medical/dental history review, to develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver a wide range of dental services such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with patients and team members about diagnoses and treatment options. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to maintain a safe clinical environment. Operate dental imaging equipment and interpret medical images to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Document all procedures thoroughly in medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, dental fabrication processes, and current best practices in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness. Experience Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with a focus on general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred. Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and medical record management. Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgeries. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and anatomy relevant to dental practice is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care with excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
