Dicus Family Dentistry is a busy private dental office in south Reno seeking an experienced and energetic full-time dental assistant to join our dynamic private practice! We pride ourselves on working together as a team to provide the most comfortable and efficient dental experience possible. We are a full-service, patient-centered family practice providing all aspects of comprehensive restorative dentistry from young families to mature adults and everyone in between. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, selfless, people person who loves working as part of a team, is punctual and has a professional demeanor and appearance. This full-time position includes a benefits package after probation period with compensation commensurate with experience. Knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis is a plus, but not required. Job responsibilities will include: setting up and breaking down rooms, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, chairside assisting the doctor and hygienists with all facets of general dental procedures, including molar endo, oral surgery, making temporaries, retraction cord, taking digital radiographs and intra-oral photographs, digital scanning, stocking, ordering, OSHA/infection control training among other tasks necessary to keep the office operating efficiently and effectively as a team.
