Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator Families First Pediatrics | West Jordan/Bluffdale | Full-Time | $18-$25 plus bonuses About the Role Families First Pediatrics is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our orthodontic treatment coordination team. As one of the first people our patients meet, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience and helping families begin their orthodontic journey. This position assists the Orthodontist during examinations by documenting conditions and recommended treatment, taking radiographs, explaining treatment to patients and guardians, drafting contracts, scheduling, and following up with recall patients. Essential Functions Confirm appointments (consults, starts, debands, etc.) and retain scheduled patients Verify insurance plan specifics, including confirming when there is no coverage Taking radiographs - panoramics, cephalometrics, and other images as prescribed Keep accurate recall records and follow up with patients as needed Present treatment plans, discuss financial options, and document financial arrangements Educate patients on insurance coverage; present fees and estimates of treatment Handle patient questions, complaints, and concerns with professionalism Schedule appointments and build rapport with patients, colleagues, and parents Track referral sources, report ortho KPIs, and meet regularly with office manager Maintain clinical and administrative duties; navigate software without assistance Maintain regular attendance, adhere to office policies, and travel between locations as needed What We're Looking For Friendly, confident communicator who connects with patients of all backgrounds Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills Works well independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of dental terminology and Microsoft Office Creative problem-solver who helps patients find the right treatment and payment options Spanish-speaking bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply!
