Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans. Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics. Carry out dental extractions and manage oral surgery cases with precision and care. Utilize dental imaging techniques and interpret results to inform treatment decisions. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with specialists in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery when necessary for comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate medical documentation and update medical records in accordance with legal standards. Use dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, medical terminology, and dental fabrication techniques to provide the highest quality care. Qualifications Dental degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice dentistry. Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting. Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and record management. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with pediatric patients is preferred. Strong understanding of infection control standards, medical imaging procedures, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and communicate effectively. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical documentation standards. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and other restorative treatments confidently. Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment that emphasizes teamwork and professionalism.
