Job Summary We are seeking two dedicated and skilled Dental Assistants to join our dynamic family oriented dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting practices, including infection control, medical records management, and proficiency with dental technologies. We are open Monday - Thursday from 8am - 5pm. We expect the team to be there 7:30am - 5:30pm for a morning huddle and closing huddle. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols. Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans. Utilize 3D scanning technology for impressions and other diagnostic purposes. Monitor and record vital signs of patients before procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure the dental office is organized, clean, and compliant with health regulations. Support the front office with scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as needed. Requirements Proven experience in dental assisting or completion of a dental assistant program. Knowledge of prosthodontics is a plus. Familiarity with medical terminology and systems relevant to dental practice. Proficient in infection control practices and aseptic techniques. Ability to take accurate X-rays and operate related equipment. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks. Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
