Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms for procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a range of treatments, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Take and process dental X-rays, including the use of advanced 3D imaging equipment, while adhering to strict infection control protocols Accurately maintain patient records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems to ensuring full compliance with HIPAA regulations Monitor patient vital signs and assist with medical documentation to support safety and quality of care Uphold the highest standards of infection control, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA guidelines Qualifications Proven experience in a dental clinic setting with strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Proficiency in chairside assisting, dental radiography, and basic medical coding Familiarity with EMR systems including Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic Solid understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques in a healthcare environment Ability to measure vital signs and support pediatric dentistry procedures Knowledge of dental specialties such as prosthodontics and endodontics is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach We value team members who bring professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to patient care.
