Dental Assistant - South Fork Family Dentistry - East Quogue, NY

We're looking for a Dental Assistant! Are you looking for a change of pace? We're looking for the right candidate to join our team of 4 to grow the practice together. Schedule: Mondays (GP/Perio), alternating Wednesdays, Thursday starting in Aug/Sept 2026 (Peds), Fridays (GP) 9am-5pm About Us: We specialize in dedicating our time with each patient and we never rush through our appointments. Currently we have 3 operatories with one family dentist, one periodontist, one pediatric dentist, one hygienist, one assistant and one receptionist. Responsibilities: Assist dentists during various procedures (cleanings, fillings, extractions, etc.). Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure supplies are stocked. Take and develop dental X-rays. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records. Provide outstanding customer service and patient care. Qualifications: Completion of a Dental Assistant training program or relevant experience. X-ray certification and familiarity with radiography techniques. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in dental software and computer systems. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
