Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our doctors by providing efficient chairside assistance, coordinating patient care, and helping ensure a seamless patient experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate combines strong clinical skills with a genuine commitment to hospitality, service excellence, and patient comfort. Your expertise in dental procedures, infection control, and patient communication will play a vital role in creating positive experiences and outstanding clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Hospitality Welcome patients warmly and help create a comfortable, professional, and reassuring environment. Deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating patient needs and ensuring a positive experience throughout treatment. Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients before, during, and after procedures. Support anxious patients by demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism. Build positive relationships with patients, referring offices, and fellow team members. Clinical Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following established infection control protocols. Assist doctors during endodontic procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Take diagnostic dental radiographs, including CBCT/3D scans, while ensuring proper positioning and radiation safety. Measure vital signs and assist with patient assessments as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies are organized, stocked, and ready for patient care. Assist in maintaining efficient clinical workflow and smooth daily operations. Qualifications & Experience Prior experience in a dental practice preferred; experience in endodontics or specialty dentistry is a plus. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and dental procedures is preferred. Proficiency with EMR systems and digital imaging technology preferred. Experience with chairside assisting, radiography, infection control, and clinical documentation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
