FAMILY DENTAL PRACTICE seeks NY licensed Registered Dental Hygienist for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday position (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM). This position is available August 3, 2026. Applicants with one year experience are preferred, New Grads are encouraged to apply, be friendly, motivated and have good patient communication skills. Full time employees are eligible for benefits including paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time. Continuing education reimbursement is available annually. Competitive salary is commensurate to experience. Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Conduct patient assessments and screenings to identify oral health conditions - Take dental x-rays - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Maintain operatory, including stocking supplies and sterilization of instruments - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Skills: - Proficiency in dental office systems, such as Softdent preferred - Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and dental terminology - Understanding of dental anatomy and the ability to interpret x-rays - Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and dental coding practices - Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients - Attention to detail for accurate patient documentation As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing quality care to patients.
