This is an opportunity is for a Dental Hygienist in Shelby, NC able to work a Flexible Schedule 3- 4 Days/week with Office Hours Monday to Thursday 7:30am-5pm. Compensation range from $42-$$50/hourly. Benefits HEALTH- 100% PAID SHORT & LONG TERM DISABILITY- 100% PAID HSA 401K Uniform/SHOES PROVIDED PTO & HOLIDAYS DENTAL DISCOUNTED FOR IMMEDIATE FAMILY Duties Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures Conduct patient assessments including medical history review, periodontal charting, and oral health screenings Take diagnostic radiographs as needed Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care Identify areas of concern and communicate findings to the dentist Support treatment acceptance through patient education and communication Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records Qualifications Active Registered Dental Hygienist license (or eligibility) Local anesthesia certification preferred or interest in obtaining, training available 1+ years of clinical expierence preferred. Current CPR certification Strong patient communication and education skills Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care Expectations SRP appointments are scheduled for 90 minutes to allow for comprehensive exams, complete diagnostics, and thorough patient education. Re-care appointments are scheduled for 1 hour to support efficient focused preventive care. The practice operates out of 16 operatories, to ensure consistent flow and a strong preventive care model.
