Front Desk Coordinator (Training in General Dentistry, Transition to Pediatric Dentistry) Discovery Dental is growing, and we're looking for an energetic, personable, and driven Front Desk Coordinator to join our team! This unique position offers the opportunity to train and develop in our general dental office before transitioning into a dedicated front desk role in our pediatric dental office as our practice expands. Our general dental office is currently building a brand-new facility, while our pediatric office will remain in our current location. During your first year, you'll gain valuable experience working alongside our established team, learning all aspects of dental front office operations before helping lead the patient experience in our pediatric practice. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide a welcoming, positive experience Check patients in and out for appointments Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling needs Verify insurance coverage and review patient benefits Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims and benefits Schedule and coordinate patient appointments Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Support a fast-paced front office environment while delivering excellent customer service Schedule For the first several months, the schedule will be: Monday â Thursday, 9:00 AM â 7:00 PM Around September, we anticipate opening additional appointment availability on Fridays and will adjust schedules and days off accordingly. No weekend hours required.
