Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Hygiene Assistant to support our dental team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with patient procedures, maintaining clinical efficiency, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Duties Assist dental hygienists and dentists during patient examinations and treatments using chairside assisting techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Record patient medical history, vital signs, and dental information accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain detailed and organized medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and assisting the dental receptionist as needed. Uphold strict infection control standards and ensure the clinic environment remains clean and safe at all times. N o Qualification needed, other than willingness to learn and dependability.
