Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and oral examinations. Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols. Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment, preferably with pediatric dentistry experience. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform patient care tasks including patient assessment, documentation review, and medical coding. Familiarity with EMR systems and medical imaging equipment is highly desirable.
