Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations. Deliver high-quality general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics. Conduct complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret medical imaging results to diagnose and plan treatment effectively. Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental terminology standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies to promote long-term oral health. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed and uphold the highest standards of patient safety. Manage dental fabrication processes when necessary, ensuring quality control in prosthodontic work. Stay current with advances in dentistry by participating in ongoing education related to pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and other specialties as needed. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a focus on general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures and handle pediatric patients with compassion and professionalism. Hands-on experience with dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and familiarity with medical records management practices. Strong understanding of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging protocols.
