Responsibilities Greet, and interact with patient for treatment ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed for orthodontic appointments Sterilize instruments according to OSHA Be familiar with placing bands, brackets, lingual bars among other routine ortho procedures consistent with maintaining good hygiene while undergoing orthodontic treatment Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records for orthodontic cases progression including taking intraoral pictures, cephalometric, and other records Skills Proven experience as an orthodontic assistant Intra oral scanning Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $14.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Free parking Paid time off Work Location: In person
