Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH) to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and support the overall success of our practice. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to maintain optimal oral health for patients of all ages. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and dental charts to inform treatment plans. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to foster lifelong healthy habits. Assist with chairside procedures such as applying fluoride treatments, sealants, and taking dental radiographs using medical imaging equipment. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies. Support infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques and sterilizing instruments according to established standards. Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants in delivering efficient four-handed dentistry for a seamless patient experience. Skills Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Curve or Dentrix for documentation review and medical coding. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures. Experience in pediatric dentistry, including working with children in a compassionate manner within a pediatric dentistry setting. Ability to perform patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, medical imaging, and assessing patient needs effectively. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures and oral health education clearly to diverse patient populations. Familiarity with chairside assisting techniques and general dentistry practices to support smooth clinical operations. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical records management to ensure patient privacy and data security. Join us at KidsKare P.C.
