Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work alongside the dental team to provide high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients for dental procedures, assisting the dentist during treatments, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training. X-ray certification preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods. Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs. Take and develop dental x-rays. Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care. Maintain accurate patient records. Schedule patient appointments and process billing. Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
