Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant/Front Desk, Boutique Park Slope Office - Stearn Orthodontics - Brooklyn, NY

Stearn Orthodontics, a boutique orthodontic practice in Park Slope, is looking for a part-time assistant to join our small team. This is a short-hours schedule with built-in days off (Wednesdays, plus either Thursday or Friday depending on the week). Most shifts are 6 hours or less. Schedule (summer hours through early Sept, then standard hours rest of year): Mon: 1-7pm/12-6pm (summer) Tues: 2-6pm Thurs or Fri (we alternate week to week, one full day, not both): 10am-6pm Saturdays: 2x a month, 9am-3pm/ 1x a month (summer) All hours listed are required. Schedule occasionally shifts based on the doctor's schedule, vacations, and holidays, so flexibility to accommodate changes is needed. Pay: $18-23/hr, based on experience Responsibilities: Chairside orthodontic assisting, including patient adjustments Taking patient records: x-rays, photos, iTero scans, impressions Front desk and patient communication support as needed General office and inventory support What we're looking for: Dental or orthodontic assistant experience required Reliable and punctual, able to be at every scheduled shift.
