Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent patient care, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to helping every patient have an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Responsibilities Responsibilities include: Assisting the orthodontist during all phases of orthodontic treatment Preparing patients for clinical procedures Taking digital scans, radiographs, and clinical photographs Placing and removing orthodontic appliances in accordance with North Carolina regulations Fabricating retainers and other orthodontic appliances Educating patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations Sterilizing instruments and maintaining an organized clinical environment Maintaining accurate patient records Working closely with teammates to keep the office running efficiently Helping create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient and family Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has at least one year of orthodontic assisting experience (preferred) Holds current North Carolina Dental Assistant credentials (DA I), including CPR and Dental Radiography certification Communicates professionally with patients, parents, and teammates Is dependable, punctual, and takes initiative Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic Is eager to continue learning and growing professionally Why Join Harris Orthodontics?
