Dental Assistant (Full-Time, Part-Time)Job Overview We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent clinical skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. In this role, you will assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, help maintain efficient clinical operations, and ensure every patient receives a comfortable and positive experience. Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of procedures, including general, restorative, cosmetic, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials while maintaining strict infection control and sterilization protocols. Take high-quality digital dental radiographs and assist with intraoral scanning and other dental imaging as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the practice's electronic dental records system. Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment. Educate patients on treatment procedures, post-operative instructions, and proper oral hygiene. Maintain clinical inventory and ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked. Assist with laboratory cases, impressions, temporary restorations, and other clinical procedures as directed. Follow OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines at all times. Perform other chairside and clinical duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required. Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, materials, and terminology. Experience taking digital dental X-rays and adherence to radiation safety protocols. Strong understanding of infection control, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques. Experience using dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar systems is preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional patient care. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Current Dental Assistant certification and radiology certification (where required by state law) are preferred. What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience.
