EXPANDED FUNCTION DENTAL ASSISTANT NEEDED Chattanooga Dental Home | 4600 Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga TN 37411 We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing dental team in Chattanooga. This is a full-time position in a supportive, fast-paced office that values teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work culture. Our office believes in working hard, supporting one another, and enjoying the journey together. We have strong team goals— including an office trip to Miami in 2027 —and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us and help us reach them. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during clinical procedures Perform expanded functions within scope and licensure Take and process dental radiographs Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols Help create a calm, positive experience for patients Support team workflow and efficiency Qualifications Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant Radiology certification EFDA certification required Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-care skills GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR ! ( NON NEGOTIABLE !!!) Schedule Full-time Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
