The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in general dentistry, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, performing dental procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation within a modern clinical setting. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, infection control, and dental imaging, ensuring optimal oral health outcomes for diverse patient populations. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues accurately. Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic treatments. Utilize advanced dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for record-keeping and treatment planning. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs. Collaborate with specialists in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery when necessary to coordinate patient care. Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate documentation of procedures performed. Use medical imaging tools effectively for diagnosis while applying knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to inform treatment strategies. Qualifications Valid Minnesota Dental license. Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. Proficiency in dental office management software. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance regulations. Excellent skills in patient care, assessment, and communication tailored to diverse patient demographics including pediatrics. Familiarity with dental fabrication processes and the use of Dental imaging technology for diagnostics. Ability to work efficiently within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry for optimal patient flow.
