Duties Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as pediatric dentistry treatments Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies while maintaining aseptic technique Take dental X-rays , ensuring proper patient positioning and safety protocols Manage electronic dentalrecords using EMR systems like Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate dental documentation and coding Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions Support front desk operations by handling dental receptionist duties, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a general or pediatric dental clinic setting Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and medical imaging procedures Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently; Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and specialists Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training; additional certifications in xray and Corneal polishing are preferred Join us to make a difference in patientsâ lives while advancing your skills in a supportive, energetic environment.
