Permanent Dental Assistant Job in American Fork, UT
Job Title: Dental Assistant Are you a Dental Assistant looking for an amazing office to work in? Then, we're looking for you! We're a single doctor, general practice, located in American Fork. We would love you to start ASAP! Hours are, Monday 8-5, Tuesday 8-5, Wednesday 10-7, and Thursday 8-5. We work one Friday a month, 7-1. Starting pay, $16-18/hour DOE Experience with Dentrix is appreciated! Please send resume to qualitycaringdentistry@gmail.com Responsibilities: - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, and seating them - Take dental X-rays as needed - Maintain patient records and schedule appointments - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Perform office tasks as needed, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments Qualifications: - Completion of a Dental Assistant program or relevant certification - Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures - Experience with X-Ray imaging and 3D scanners - Knowledge of general dentistry practices - Familiarity with Dentrix - Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience as a Dental Receptionist - Background in medical imaging - Ability to assist with various dental procedures Join our team and contribute to providing exceptional dental care to our patients.
