Experienced Licensed Orthodontic Assistant — RDA/OA Required Job Summary Sunrise Orthodontics is a multi-location private orthodontic practice seeking an experienced, dependable, and skilled Orthodontic Assistant for a full-time, long-term position. This position is for experienced orthodontic assistants only. Applicants must have an active RDA license or OA permit and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment with travel between multiple locations. Please Read Before Applying This position requires: Active RDA license or active OA permit Dental or orthodontic assisting experience Full-time availability, Monday–Friday Travel between Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, Dixon, Placerville, and Roseville Ability to assist chairside independently Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced orthodontic clinic Applicants who do not currently hold an active RDA license or OA permit should apply to our separate Orthodontic Assistant — No Experience Required position instead. Pay $25–$30/hour, based on experience and qualifications Responsibilities Assist with orthodontic procedures including bonding, banding, archwire changes, and adjustments Take orthodontic records, including photos, impressions, radiographs, and bite registrations Prepare and manage patient flow efficiently Maintain accurate charting and documentation Prepare and break down operatories Follow sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards Support lab tasks and case management Maintain clinic cleanliness and organization Provide professional, positive patient care Work collaboratively with doctors, assistants, and the clinical team Qualifications Active RDA license or OA permit required Radiology certification required Dental or orthodontic assisting experience required Strong chairside assisting skills Strong communication skills with patients and team members Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable, team-oriented, and professional Spanish speaking preferred, but not required Willingness to travel up to 50% required Benefits Health insurance 401(k) with matching up to 4% Paid sick time and vacation Uniform allowance Long-term growth opportunity within a private orthodontic practice How to Apply Please submit your resume and include “RDA/OA” in your application.
