Permanent Dental Assistant Job in St. Louis, MO
Growing private practice looking for a reliable, personable chairside dental assistant that works well with others and patients. Dental assistant should be well-organized with great attention to detail and minimum one year experience in general practice. Experience with Dentrix software is a plus. Office hours- Monday-Thursday and occasional Fridays Responsibilities Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Skills Proven experience as chairside dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills-preference if you have Dentrix experience Excellent communication and people skills Well-organized and reliable Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Free parking Paid time off Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
