Responsibilities: Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures and treatments Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patients Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist Record patient medical histories and treatment notes in dental software Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions Manage dental supply inventory and ensure operatories are fully stocked Provide compassionate chairside manner to ensure patient comfort throughout visits Requirements: Prior dental assisting experience preferred; recent graduates welcome to apply Dental Assistant certification or completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred Familiarity with dental X-rays and radiography techniques Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain About Us: The Smile Company Dental Care LLC is a trusted dental practice serving the Maryland Heights, MO community with high-quality, compassionate dental care.
