Position Summary The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and team members to ensure efficient clinical operations and high-quality patient care. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and enjoys working in a close-knit practice setting. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control standards. Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures. Take radiographs Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout appointments. Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Manage inventory and stock clinical supplies as needed. Perform chairside assisting duties efficiently and professionally. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient service. Qualifications Dental Assistant certification or registration as required by state regulations. Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but motivated new graduates may be considered. Current radiology certification Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
