Overview Optima Dental Group is looking for a skilled and caring Dental Assistant to join our small, high-quality team. We are a private care practice focused on comprehensive, personalized dental care. Weâre seeking someone who is experienced, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care. What weâre looking for: Previous dental assisting experience Reliable and professional Positive attitude and strong work ethic Great chairside manner Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Proficiency with EMR systems like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation. We will train on our specific software. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety standards. Knowledge of dental assisting techniques including aseptic methods, chairside assisting, and use of 3D scanners or other advanced imaging tools. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics. Certification in radiography or X-ray safety is preferred; ongoing training in infection control and HIPAA compliance is essential.
