Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Cornelius, NC
Contour Dentistry is looking for a friendly, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Assistant II (DA II) to join our amazing team! As a small, close-knit practice, you'll be our primary dental assistant, giving you the unique opportunity to take ownership of your role, build meaningful relationships with patients, and play an essential part in every procedure. Responsibilities Welcome patients and escort them to treatment rooms Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment Take and process digital dental X-rays Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked operatories Perform basic laboratory tasks, including pouring models and trimming impressions Update and maintain accurate patient records and medical histories Support the doctor in delivering exceptional patient care Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a Dental Assistant Current X-ray certification Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques Experience with dental software such as Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or similar systems Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow Schedule Monday â Thursday 8:00 AM â 5:00 PM Why Join Contour Dentistry?
