Take and develop dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning. Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging procedures to support comprehensive patient care. Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance procedure efficiency and patient comfort. Support the dental reception process by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, X-ray taking, and sterilization procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Knowledge of dental specialties including endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry procedures. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members like dental receptionists and hygienists while providing compassionate patient care.
